We have served as testifying and consulting experts in dozens of cases involving issues of lawyer professional responsibility, including cases involving legal malpractice, fees, and lawyer disqualification, as well as estate, contract and other disputes where lawyer conduct becomes an issue. In cases where lawyers are parties, our work has been equally divided between engagements by plaintiffs and defendants.
We believe in practical, experience-based assessments of ethical requirements, informed by the realities of practicing law, while remaining committed to a thorough and sophisticated knowledge of legal principles and rigorous legal analysis.
