RSMD’s Sari Montgomery co-authored “A Cautionary Tale for In-House Counsel,” an article in the July 2019 ISBA Bar Journal, along with Scott Kozlov, director of unauthorized practice of law litigation and senior counsel at the ARDC, and Nancy Vincent, director of administration for the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar. The article examines limited licensure for in-house corporate counsel as provided for in Supreme Court Rule 716, and the risks to in-house counsel — and their employers — of non-compliance.
